Head Gardener

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Gardener to join our client, a renowned traditional garden. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £20,000 - £25,000.

As a Head Gardener, you will oversee the maintenance and development of a beautiful garden and manage a small team while ensuring high standards of horticultural care.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Gardener, Groundsman, Groundskeeper or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of plants and lawn care.
• Strong Topiary and Spraying skills.
• Expertise in machinery operation, spraying (with the appropriate certifications), and composting.
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage a small team.
• A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
