- Our premium brand Automotive client is seeking a highly skilled Seat Trimmer for a contract role in Warwickshire, offering a salary of £38/hr (Inside IR35) for a duration of 6 months with potential yearly renewal.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive patterning, high-level machine sewing, and production processes for seats.
- Candidates should possess full trimming experience from patterning to finishing, along with engineering capabilities related to seat functionality such as airbags and climate control.
- Additionally, applicants must be familiar with various materials, including leather and PVCs, and have the ability to read and interpret designs and CAD drawings.
- This role requires effective communication skills and adherence to health and safety policies, with preferred experience in Microsoft Office 365 and mass production processes.
Seat Trimmer Automotive - 38/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire - 6 Months (potential for yearly renewal)

Position Description:
Highly skilled individual required for seat development, with patterning, sewing and component trimming capabilities. The role involves working with technical Specialists to deliver feasibility studies through physical seats.
Skills Required:
- Automotive patterning - seats
- High level of machine sewing
- Automotive seating production experience
Experience Required:
- Experience of full trimming full seats from patterning to finishing and flitting.
- Experience of production and manufacture processes for seats
- Engineering capability for seat functionality (airbags, climate)
- Previous experience of working with leather, PVCs and textiles.
- Experience of all sewing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret rendered designs, 3D CAD, drawings and colour call outs.
- Knowledge and experience of safe working practices adhering to H&S policies.
- Able to communicate effectively to other members of staff and senior management
Experience Preferred:
- Microsoft office 365 experience
- Experience of production and manufacture processes for seats
- Knowledge of mass production process and procedures, In depth knowledge of textile

This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
