Intune Consultant

Intune Consultant – 6-month contract – Northampton/Remote

My customer seeking an experienced Intune Consultant to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead a comprehensive review of our current Microsoft Intune setup. The ideal candidate will provide expert recommendations and implement best practice improvements to optimize our device management and security posture.

The Intune Consultant is required onsite 3 days a week in Northampton for the duration of the 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a full review of the existing Intune environment and configuration.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement best practice solutions.
• Lead and support an MDM migration from a legacy solution.
• Manage and optimize Intune policies, profiles, compliance rules, and security baselines.
• Ensure efficient process and rule management to maintain scalability and performance.
• Work across multiple sites, managing 10,000+ devices in a diverse enterprise environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align Intune strategies with business objectives.
• Provide expertise in Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for seamless identity and access management.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an Intune Consultant/SME in an enterprise-scale environment.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune configuration & deployment.
• Strong track record of MDM migration from another solution (e.g., SCCM, AirWatch, JAMF, etc.).
• Deep understanding of policy creation, compliance management, and endpoint security.
• Expertise in Entra ID, Conditional Access, and modern authentication methodologies.
• Ability to analyze, document, and improve existing processes and policies.
• Experience managing 10,000+ devices across multiple locations.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
