Job Description: Pattern Metal and Woodworker
Location : Gloucester
Hours : Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.45pm, Friday 8am to 12.
Salary: Up to £35,000pa
Our manufacturing client based is Gloucester are seeking for a talented Pattern Maker/Woodworker to produce high-quality patterns and moulds from various materials, including wood, metal, and composites.
Role Responsibilities:
- Construct patterns and moulds from metal, wood, and composite materials, utilizing drawings and CAD data.
- Operate CNC programming machines to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform daily production activities in accordance with manufacturing instructions.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safe storage.
- Collaborate with customers and contractors to meet project needs.
- Assist in research and development tasks as required.
- Minimize waste and adhere to waste disposal regulations.
- Follow recommended stock controls as directed by the Pattern Shop Manager.
- Uphold a clean and organized working environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of composites, woodworking, and metalwork.
- Experience in operating machinery such as sanders, circular saws, band saws, mills, and lathes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
- CNC programming experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
