Sonic Summary

The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Controller and collaborate within a small finance team.
Candidates should ideally be qualified accountants or actively pursuing their qualification, with extensive financial accounting experience.
Key responsibilities include assisting with monthly management accounts, managing the fixed asset register, cash management, and producing statutory accounts.
Experience with VAT and Corporation Tax is advantageous for applicants.
The position is based in Harlow with a salary range of £50,000 to £55,000 plus benefits, and hybrid working options are available.

As Financial Accountant you will report into the Financial Controller and work in a small finance team. Ideally you will be a qualified accountant or actively studying towards your qualification.

Core of role:

Assisting with the production of monthly management accountsManagement of the fixed asset registerCash management, cash flow reporting and monitoringProduction of statutory accounts and financial statementsBalance sheet reconciliationSupport the budget processWork with the finance team on process improvementIdeally you will be a Qualified Accountant (or nearing qualification) with extensive financial accounting experience. Experience of VAT and Corporation Tax would be an advantage. The role is based in Harlow, hybrid working is available. Salary range £50-55,000 + Benefits.
