We are seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic and progressive company during a period of accelerated and sustained growth, both nationally and internationally. This role offers the chance to be a pivotal team member, ensuring the seamless delivery of our services while working closely with academic leaders and leveraging technology to optimise business processes.  MUST HAVE XERO EXPERIENCE

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage Aged Debtors & Aged Creditors Control.
  • Maintain Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
  • Review and approve Purchase Invoices and Pro Forma.
  • Approve and process personal and credit card expense claims.
  • Handle accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and provisions.
  • Conduct credit card and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post nominal journals.
  • Assist in procurement processes.
  • Take inbound calls to manage customer enquiries.
  • Manage the inbox and respond to emails.
  • Reconcile invoices against their statements.
  • Support with general administration duties and filing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Part Qualified AAT or qualified by experience and any relevant accounting qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role.
  • Honest with strong moral principles.
  • Proactive in improving knowledge and abilities.
  • Keen eye for detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good to excellent Excel skills.
  • Must have experience with Xero.
