This role could be open to part-time to start with but will transition to full time permanent office base
We are seeking an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic and progressive company during a period of accelerated and sustained growth, both nationally and internationally. Day-to-day of the role:- Manage Aged Debtors & Aged Creditors Control.
- Maintain Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Review and approve Purchase Invoices and Pro Forma.
- Approve and process personal and credit card expense claims.
- Handle accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and provisions.
- Conduct credit card and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and post nominal journals.
- Assist in procurement processes.
- Take inbound calls to manage customer enquiries.
- Manage the inbox and respond to emails.
- Reconcile invoices against their statements.
- Support with general administration duties and filing.
- Part Qualified AAT or qualified by experience and any relevant accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role.
- Honest with strong moral principles.
- Proactive in improving knowledge and abilities.
- Keen eye for detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good to excellent Excel skills.
- Must have experience with Xero.
