Michael Page are hiring for an accounts assistant on the outskirts of Harlow for this fast paced and growing business with ambitious plans. This is an amazing opportunity for someone to develop their career dealing with all aspects of Accounts Payable, Receivable and Bank reconciliations.

Client Details

Description

  • Accounts payable - including the processing payable invoices, matching to purchase orders and supplier payments
  • Accounts receivables - credit control, sending of monthly statements and processing of customer receipts including handling discrepancies and follow-ups.
  • Processing of purchase receipts and payments to include company credit cards
  • Management of weekly timesheet submissions (checking start and leave times against CRM system, checking overtime against submissions, calculate accurate weekly pay)
  • Assist with the Processing, and reconciliation of weekly PAYE payroll to maintain compliance with contractual and statutory obligations and ensure accuracy to include year-end processes (P11D and P60).
  • Managing Sub-Contractor payment including CIS returns
  • General Administration and filing of invoices/receipts

Profile

The successful candidate will be a proactive, self-motivated individual interested in working within our fast-paced office environment. They will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and communications skills and can work collaboratively within the team. This role may suit an individual currently working towards their accounting qualification. Proven experience using excel and multiple systems is essential.
