Salary -dependant on experience £25-27,000

Office based - Harlow

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Role:As a Service Administrator, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our office, providing essential support to our Operation Managers and ensuring excellent client relations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative Support: Manage diaries, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and respond to email queries.
  • Client Liaison: Handle purchase orders and finalise quotations for new jobs, fostering strong relationships with our clients.
  • Job Management: Raise jobs in our in-house system and produce relevant paperwork for our engineers.
  • Time sheet Processing: Ensure our engineer's time-sheets are processed accurately and timely.
  • Training Assistance: Maintain training records and ensure operatives are up to date with their training requirements.
  • Supplier Coordination: Produce purchase orders and liaise with suppliers, addressing queries and delivery schedules.
  • Reporting: Generate weekly reports for work in progress (WIP) and collate paperwork for invoicing.
  • Safety Documentation: Create Risk Assessments and Method Statements based on information from our managers.
  • General Administration: Answer phone calls, organise files, and carry out various admin duties.

  • Driven, proactive, and eager to contribute.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A flexible multitasker who can adapt quickly and work efficiently under pressure.
  • A good team player with a pleasant telephone manner.
  • Experienced in administration, preferably in an engineering or construction environment (full training will be provided).
