Overview: Working alongside our client, a specialist injection moulding manufacturer, we are experienced Quality Engineer to join their team.
Remit:
- As a Quality Engineer you will play a crucial role in maintaining adherence to industry standards you will work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to maintain high-quality engineering practices.
- This position with suit an experience Quality Engineer that has experience working within a an ISO9001 certified manufacturing environments, knowledge of CMM programming & core quality tools is essential for this role.
Role:
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality standards in line with industry requirements.
- Perform quality inspections and conduct analysis of results to ensure compliance with standards.
- Carry out Root Cause Analysis and manage non-conformity effectively.
- Oversee and contribute to APQP processes, including PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Charts.
- Lead the preparation and submission of PPAP documentation.
- Ensure adherence to ISO9001:2015 standards and contribute to improvements within the IATF16949:2016 manufacturing environment
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, ensuring clear and concise reporting and collaboration.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in an ISO9001 certified manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of IATF16949 standards would be desirable
- Experience in APQP (PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts)
- Familiarity with PPAP processes
- Proficient in CMM programming and conducting quality inspections
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating a strong sense of initiative and motivation
- Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
