Our client is seeking a Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic Finance Team. Day-to-day of the role:- Work predominantly on the Purchase Ledger.
- Post and process both stock and non-stock invoices.
- Manage weekly and ad hoc payment runs.
- Conduct supplier statement reconciliations.
- Check and process carrier invoices against set rate cards.
- Monitor the payable mailbox for queries and invoices.
- Handle multi-currency bank postings and reconciliations.
- Reconcile Purchase Ledger – including supplier accounts and Aged Creditor reporting.
- Manage petty cash and company credit card postings and reconciliations.
- File customer invoices once paid.
- Assist with the annual audit.
- Perform ad hoc finance and administration tasks as required.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience working within a purchase ledger finance department.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Good time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and develop within a supportive environment.
- Highly organised and capable of working on own initiative.
