Accounts Payable Assistant - 18 Month FTC

Do you have Accounts Payable experience and are you able to plan your time effectively in a fast-moving environment? Our well-established Harlow based client are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their dynamic growing finance team initially on an 18 Month FTC basis.

Duties:

  • Validate and process large volumes of invoices for multiple European entities
  • Manage Accounts Payable mailboxes and resolve supplier queries
  • Liaise with other sites as needed to obtain data/approvals for processing
  • Collaborate with colleagues from multiple departments to ensure timely resolution of vendor/supplier issues
  • Answer and resolve e mail telephone queries from internal and external parties
  • Comply with Company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Additional ad-hoc accounts payable duties as required

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable function, preferably using the SAP ledger or a similar ERP system
  • Good use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Effective communication skills and able to prioritise workload
  • Ability to process data and information accurately and according to expected turnaround times
  • Previous experience or ability to work in a fast-paced environment such as working to finance and processing deadlines

Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours a week (hybrid working, 3 days per week in the office)27k-29k D.O.E Free on-site parking Benefits available include: Private Healthcare Insurance, Life Insurance, Social Events, Cycle to Work Scheme, Company Bonus Scheme and Pension.
