I am looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join a UK HR Team, which has recently undergone a transformation to enhance their HR services. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for HR, comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment, and capable of developing new processes and procedures. This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, engaged, and ready to ‘roll their sleeves up’ to ensure the successful outcome of our new HR Service.

This role is to cover a period of leave, we don’t currently know how long this interim role will be for. At least a month to start so you must be immediately available to start.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide first-line advice, guidance, and support to managers and employees on all aspects of employee relations and terms of employment.
  • Contribute to workforce-focused project work, such as policy development and management training.
  • Maintain high-quality data in HR information systems and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Provide professional HR guidance independently, with support from the HR Director as needed.
  • Support organisational change activities, including restructures, redundancies, and redeployment.
  • Consult with legal advisors and partner with HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence to ensure consistent application of practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Practical HR experience within a global matrix organisation.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and mediation skills.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and HR policies and procedures.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Minimum 3 years of broad-based HR Officer experience.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern of 2-3 days in the office.
