24-7 Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers in Harlow for multi-drop deliveries with start times between 04:00 and 08:00.
The position offers a pay rate of £16 to £22 per hour and is available on a temp to perm basis.
Candidates must have professional experience driving a Class 2 vehicle and hold a full UK driving licence with C+E, along with a full CPC and DIGI Tacho card.
Responsibilities include safely operating the delivery vehicle, loading and unloading goods, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
Applicants should have proven delivery driver experience, knowledge of traffic laws, and good communication skills.

HGV Class 2 Drivers

The role:

24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers in the Harlow area, to deliver to stores. On average completing 3 runs per day. This will be on a temp to perm basis. This does involve taking the items into the stores, although the items are not heavy.

Professional experience driving a Class 2
Full UK Driving licence with C+E / Full CPC and DIGI Tacho card
No DD, DR or IN convictions on licence

Responsibilities for our HGV Class 2 Drivers

Safely operate an HGV 2 delivery vehicle
Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Skills required of our HGV Class 2 Drivers

Valid driver's license with appropriate category for operating a Class 2 vehicle.
Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience driving an HGV vehicle.
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
