HGV Driver (Class 1 and Class 2) - Harlow
24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for HGV Driver - Class 1 & Class 2 on behalf of our client for a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain, a major retailer based in Harlow - CM20.
Shift and Pay Information for HGV Driver:
- Early Start times usually between 04:00am and 06:00am - some later starts available
- Shifts - Thurs-Mon
- Guaranteed 5 days a week
- Monday to Friday Days £19.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday Nights £22.00 per hour
- Saturday/Sunday All Hours £22.00 per hour
- Bank Holiday Days £34.07 per hour
- Bank Holiday Nights £38.78 per hour
About you:
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in HGV driving is essential. You must be 21+ to apply for this position;
- Up to date Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Appropriate license
- No more than 6 points on driving licence
- Excellent Organisational skills
- Full training given.
- No Drink Driving offences Drug and Alcohol testing
- Driving assessment required
- Physically Fit
Duties of a HGV Driver (Class 1 and Class 2):
- Roles are temporary ongoing with opportunities for long term assignments.
- We are looking for people with a good attitude and enthusiasm; HGV driving experience is essential.
- Duties will include delivering stock to stores around the South-East of England.
- Some heavy lifting involved - full Manual Handling Training Provided.
