Techniche Global are supporting an automotive company to appoint a Regional Sales Manager who will ensure sustainability of current business and will be proactive in the development of new business across the markets served by the Company.

  

Salary:   £50k plus attractive benefits

Location: The role will be predominantly UK based with a focus on territory in the South of the UK although and will include travel to customer sites in this region and infrequently further afield. Company’s offices are in Harlow, Essex.

Duration:  perm / full time

 Candidate profile, expectations and responsibilities:
  • Candidate should demonstrate a strong track record of both business development and major Account management.
  • Undertake frequent business travel to customers and markets served and be prepared for regular overnights away from home.
  • Manage and maintain CRM tool and or reporting protocols as advised by their Line Manager including weekly/daily journey planner and customer visit reporting.
  • Prepare accurate and concise meeting reports that effectively communicate the needs and/or concerns of the customer with other areas of the business.
  • Comfortable in the management of major (and at times very demanding) OEM accounts and relationship building with large/National Fleets and or local authorities.
  • Proactively identify opportunity with existing or new customers.
  • Have a strong understanding of Fleet customers their preference in terms of manufacturer and lighting package specification and process.
  • Have the capability to effectively communicate at every level from board room to production technician.
  • Understand the Rigid chassis and 12-volt body market, in terms of monthly/annual production schedule and the corresponding (TL-E and Labcraft) share.
  • An ability to interrogate data and market conditions to forecast sales.
  • Present technical sales training to production and sales staff, coach, mentor and support to improve pull through and end user awareness.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and cope with stressful situations while remaining positive and professional to both customers and colleagues
  • Attend trade shows, industry events and team meetings as appropriate to enhance Brand exposure, market penetration and team cohesiveness.
  • Schedule business travel in an efficient manner to maximise face-to-face customer contact, while responsibly managing a travel budget, adhering to company travel policy.
  • A flexible approach and attitude will be essential as the successful candidate will be occasionally asked to perform additional duties to support other areas of the business as requested by their Line Manager.
