Description
- Provide detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Collaborate closely with the construction department to ensure project requirements are met.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
- Participate in tender review meetings and provide input.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all estimating information.
- Analyse project risks and provide appropriate solutions.
- Support the Construction Manager with the implementation of projects.
- Continuously improve estimation processes and procedures.
Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- A strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using estimation software.
- The ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven experience in the property industry.
