Sales Coordinator

My client, an established packaging company, based in Harlow are looking for an experienced Sales Coordinator to join their team.

In this role, you'll manage the entire customer journey, from welcoming new clients to fostering strong connections with existing ones. By providing ongoing support and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new clients, you'll help unlock the full potential of every account.

Ideally, you will have experience within a similar role and a strong understanding of the sales order process. Someone who is highly organised, has the ability to prioritise high volumes of work and has a great telephone manner would suit this role perfectly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders, manage telephone inquiries, and handle new account applications efficiently.
  • Proactively generate leads through various sources, including online platforms (e.g., Google) and professional networking (e.g., LinkedIn).
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records with meticulous accuracy.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers, identifying potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Manage a designated portfolio of smaller customer accounts, cultivating them for future growth and new business development.
  • Support the External Sales Team at industry exhibitions and events.
  • Provide comprehensive cover for the Sales Desk team during absences.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 1 years’ experience within a similar role where you have processed orders.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Computer literate, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook.
  • Great time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Self-sufficient when needed and able to work to deadlines
  • Ability to tackle problems with a proactive and 'Can Do’ approach.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
