Reed Business Support are now recruiting for a Sales Representative to join our Harlow based client in a period of growth.  This Sales Representative vacancy is currently part-time x 3 days a week, Wed-Thu-Fri; 8am - 5pm

With a huge untapped market, you will be a motivated Sales Representative and will be able to generate leads and connect with potential customers.

Duties will be:

  • Make outbound calls to introduce the company and products
  • Generate leads by identifying potential customers (no experience needed – they will guide you)
  • Keep track of your pipeline, ensuring follow up  
  • Learn about the product and confidently explain them to customers
  • Work with the sales team to follow up on leads and build customer relationships
  • Updating the relevant software and spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy
  • Visit clients occasionally to introduce the services and establish connections

What they need from you:

  • Comfortable making phone calls and pitching to potential customers – essential i.e. previous outbound sales experience
  • Good communication skills – confident in talking to new people
  • Background in refrigeration, HVAC, food industry, commercial kitchens, or building services is a plus but not required
  • Basic IT skills – able to use sales software and spreadsheets for tracking calls
  • Driver’s license preferred – may need to visit clients occasionally
