CNC Millers opportunity in this established and friendly precision engineering company. You should be an experienced programmer setter operator capable of hitting the ground running, able to understand engineering drawings and be familiar with 5 axis mazak CNC Mills (mazatrol). The work is varied to include various metals, runs sizes and complexity. As you would expect basic inspection skills are required. Starting salary dependant on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting up and operating CNC milling machines, with a focus on precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Program set up and operate Mazak CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills

This is one of a few CNC Milling and Turning roles we have in the area.
