What You'll Do:

  • Set up, programme, and operate CNC machines to produce components that meet strict specifications.
  • Collaborate with their engineering team to optimise manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain meticulous records of production, ensuring any issues are communicated effectively to management.
  • Work with both CNC and manual lathes, producing high-quality components within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting, operating, and programming CNC mills and lathes.
  • Producing components to strict tolerances while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Performing routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults promptly.
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications with ease.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • Expertise in operating manual lathes.
  • Familiarity with G-code and programming languages (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
  • Strong familiarity with metalworking equipment and tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
