I have beenretained by a Chemicalsbusiness who are looking to recruit their SHEQ Manager at site.(Safety, Health, Environment and Quality)

This is a great site, one of the groups top performers, which in turn brings its own set of challengesacross quality and safety.

The focus on this role will be site safety, drilling down on system integrationand governance.
Im looking for someone who can demonstratesafety schedules, get the team to adhere to them and make on-going improvements.
The site Quality team will lead the accountability there, driving lean processes- this is more safety systems focused.

  • Provide SHE and Quality Leadership for the site as a member of the site leadership team.
  • Ensure full compliance with country legislation and associated regulations.
  • Ensure full compliance with company SHE and Quality standards.
  • To be the sites primary contact for all external regulatory and certification bodies.
  • To develop, manage, monitor and audit the sites SHEQ management systems.
  • Management of the QC department.

I would love to see a relevantdegree - with a good chunk of experience workingin a high hazardous environment.
Managed teams across HSE and Qualitywith the abilityto liaise with the Environment Agency and HSE when the come to site.
