Customer Service Adviser - Returns | Harlow, Essex

£27K - £30K DOE

Monday - Friday | 9 am - 5 pm | On-site

We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused, and highly organised professional to manage the returns process for our client's Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) orders.

In this role, you will join an outstanding customer service team, taking ownership of customer returns across multiple channels, including web, Amazon, and eBay orders. You will also handle customer inquiries related to stock availability, product advice, and delivery updates.  As this role integrates both customer service and returns functions, your time will be split between our client's modern, purpose-built warehouse where you will have your own dedicated work space and their new, contemporary offices.

You must be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and representing the brand to the highest standard! Confidence in working independently, managing your time effectively whilst at the warehouse and being able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment when in the office is an absolute must!!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing customer returns efficiently, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

  • Processing free-of-charge orders and maintaining accurate records.

  • Handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.

  • Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to improve return processes.

  • Supporting the customer service team with tickets for their D2C customers

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous customer service experience (D2C/eCommerce experience preferred).

  • Experience in returns, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus!

  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • A proactive problem-solver with great attention to detail.

  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
