Security Engineer – Door Entry and Access Control Systems | South East London | 8.00am until 16:30 Monday to Friday | £36,000 to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is an established Fire & Security Company based in Harlow, Essex. They have experienced significant growth over the past few years and are looking for a Security Engineer to join their existing team in London.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Experience in fault finding is essential
  • Experience in the Security industry is essential (minimum of 2 years).
  • Knowledge on Entrotec, Paxton, Came KMS, Bell, Label, Pac
  • Take ownership and responsibility of tasks and to ensure they are completed within deadlines
  • Deliver customer service to the highest level
  • IT skills including Outlook and Excel an advantage
  • Must have a right to work in the UK
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence

What will your role look like?

You will be responsible for delivering a high class of customer service to customers, incorporating the following activities:-

  • Carrying out PPM (preventative planned maintenance) on door entry and access control systems
  • Carrying out reactive fault calls
  • Carrying out small works
  • Working as part of a team
  • Conduct site surveys to assist the office-based estimator in quoting for small works
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Understand the client KPI's associated with planned and reactive calls
  • Out of hours London callout rota one in eight weeks

What can you expect in return?

  • Holiday – 22 days rising by 1 additional day per annum for every year served to a maximum of 25 days, plus 8 Bank Holiday days and birthday leave day
