Mortgage Advisor in Harlow

Overview:

Join a well-known estate agency in Harlow and help people achieve their property goals as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker. With over 120 properties sold in the Harlow area every month, there's ample opportunity for you to make a real difference as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Expert Advice: Deliver top-notch mortgage and protection advice to both new and existing clients in Harlow.
  • Collaborate with the Estate Agency: Work closely with the estate agency to generate and convert leads effectively, ensuring clients receive the best possible service.
  • Access the Existing Client Base: Review mortgage and protection needs of the current clientele, helping them find optimal solutions as a trusted Mortgage Advisor.
  • Manage Property Transactions: Deal with an average property size of £360,000, with property values reaching up to £900,000.
  • Handle Case Sizes: Work with an average case size of £2,500, with a minimum commission of £250 per case, rising to £625 for larger deals.

Key Skills:

  • Mortgage Expertise: Excellent knowledge of mortgages and various associated protection products is essential for a successful Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker.
  • CeMAP Qualification: A CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is a must-have for applicants.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills are crucial for converting leads into successful transactions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Independent and Team Player: Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
