Administrator

Our client, based in Harlow, is seeking a highly motivated Administrator to provide exceptional support and contribute to their ongoing success.

If you're passionate about delivering top-tier customer service and excel at planning and organisation, this is your chance to make a real impact.

You'll be the first point of contact, resolving queries and ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard, consistently meeting client KPIs. Ideally, you’ll bring previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment, having handled a high volume of calls.

Your excellent communication skills will be crucial, enabling you to build strong relationships and effectively negotiate and influence.

*In this role you will be required to work a Saturday morning (which will be 1 in 4) and will be paid at an additional rate but is included in the above advertised salary bracket*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact, delivering consistently high-quality customer service to clients and residents.
  • Maintain regular communication with engineering staff, providing detailed information on scheduled works and job sheets.
  • Provide excellent administrative support, including accurate creation and processing of client work orders.
  • Maintain a professional telephone manner at all times, handling inquiries calmly and escalating issues effectively.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of records, service systems, and in-house databases.
  • Review completed works and generate invoices in accordance with contract terms.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role in a call/contact centre environment is preferred.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
