Ecommerce ManagerAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ecommerce Manager with both project management experience and a technical understanding to join an innovative, family-owned business based in Harlow. In this role, you will oversee and support the development of websites across the company and play a key role in shaping the eCommerce strategy to drive growth.The position is primarily based in Harlow, with the flexibility to work from home one day a week after completing the probationary period. A valid UK driving license is required.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage ongoing development projects for the eCommerce website, including requirement gathering, testing, and delivery.
  • Lead the enhancement of the existing website, oversee migration to new platforms, and implement new web-based solutions and tools.
  • Troubleshoot web-related issues to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Initiate and lead website improvements to enhance the customer journey.
  • Act as a team lead, mentoring team members, setting an example, and distributing tasks effectively.
Skills Required:
  • Previous experience in a web development environment, particularly in a technical role.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing web-related projects.
  • Technical proficiency in eCommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, PHP, and Python.
  • Experience working with and managing third-party web development agencies.
