Our client, a well-established automotive workshop in Harlow, is seeking an experienced Valeter to join their friendly team.

With over 20 years of industry experience, their team provides top-quality vehicle care. You'll be working alongside qualified and experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, possess excellent cleaning and presentation skills, and be able to work efficiently and effectively. Experience with various cleaning techniques and products is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Presentation:Thoroughly clean both the interior and exterior of vehicles to ensure they are presented in the best possible condition for sale.
  • Preparation for Sale: Prepare vehicles for customer viewings and test drives, ensuring they are clean, presentable, and free of any defects that could deter potential buyers.
  • Maintaining Showroom Standards: Contribute to maintaining a clean and professional showroom environment, ensuring all vehicles on display are presented to a high standard.
  • Pre-Sale Inspections: Conduct basic pre-sale inspections of vehicles, identifying any minor cosmetic defects such as scuffs, scratches, or dents.
  • Maintaining Equipment: Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and in good working order. This may include cleaning and sanitizing equipment, reporting any maintenance issues, and assisting with the ordering of supplies.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience with machine polishing and detailing would be advantageous
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
