They are responsible for some truly innovative product designs that have seen the company achieve multi awards winning recognition on certain ranges.Job responsibilities of the Graphic Designer Your role as Graphic Designer will be to deliver excellent and innovative design solutions for all the marketing communications, both digital and print, for the company and target markets. You will be encouraged to work with flair and passion in your field to develop some fantastic designs of digital work (web landing pages for web, social media and email marketing campaigns through to the design and formatting of catalogue layouts and eye catching product packaging. Your job will typically cover the following duties and responsibilities:
- Design assets for website, emails campaigns, social media campaigns and other digital media
- Artworking and design of all printed literature such as catalogues, inserts, flyers and adverts
- Creating designs and artwork for packaging for the full and ever-growing portfolio of products
- Updating and reworking existing artwork and designs
- Photoshop work creating web and email assets
- Image editing for Amazon
- Resizing and applying creative across multiple formats
- Video editing and animation an advantage
The successful candidate background
- A university degree or level of education in Graphic Design Degree or equivalent
- Proven in-house experience in a similar role
- Portfolio showcasing strong creative skills and digital design projects
- Ideally from an e-commerce background
- An excellent knowledge of Creative Suite applications in a Mac based environment
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Image retouching skills in Photoshop, including colour corrections and cut outs
- High levels of accuracy with meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge of style sheets, parent pages and working to brand guidelines
- Video editing and animation an advantage using Premier Pro and Canva
Salary, benefits and working hours £30,000 - £32,000. Mon - Fri 8.15am - 4.45 pm.
