About the Role:

As our Door Surveyor / Technical Adviser, you'll be based in our Harlow office, but you'll also travel to various UK locations to conduct customer surveys. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Surveying & Measurements: Accurately measuring door/ window openings to ensure the perfect fit. Using Prodim machine.
  • Ordering & Specifications: Ensuring the right specifications based on customer requirements and liaising with engineers to produce accurate CAD drawings.
  • Quality Assurance: Reviewing CAD drawings and confirming alignment with customer order dimensions/surveys.
  • Production Liaison: Collaborating with our production team to ensure doors are manufactured to exact specifications. Quality control checks.
  • Planning Installations & Servicing: Coordinating with installers and customers to schedule installations and provide outstanding service.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: Background in window/door fitting, surveying, or sales, with strong technical knowledge of door installation.
  • Attention to Detail: Efficiency and attention to details to ensure accuracy in measurements, drawings, and production specifications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with customers, engineers, and production teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Ability to understand how doors will be fitted to ensure seamless installation during the survey phase.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK. Mileage will be paid.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to resolving technical queries and addressing customer concerns promptly.
Commission if sold other products during survey stage/ 5 %-10 %
