Job Title: Co-Educator (Teaching Assistant)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Co-Educator to support the teaching and learning process within the classroom. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the class teacher or SENCO, ensuring all pupils have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
This role is integral in delivering an inclusive and engaging curriculum, offering tailored support (including interventions) to individuals and groups of children. As a Co-Educator, you will help create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment, promoting the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils. You will actively contribute to assessing progress, managing behaviour, and fostering a love of learning while upholding the school’s values and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the teaching and learning process in the classroom, ensuring students’ needs are met.
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff to deliver a curriculum that is inclusive and engaging.
- Provide tailored interventions for individuals and groups of children to ensure progress.
- Promote a positive learning environment that encourages student growth and development.
- Contribute to assessments and tracking of student progress.
- Assist in managing student behaviour and fostering a respectful and cooperative classroom atmosphere.
Liaison with:
- Teaching staff, associate staff, Headteacher, SENCO, Senior Leaders, parents/carers, and external support services.
