Job Description
We're hiring for a graduate/entry-level Network & Hardware Testing Engineer with an IT Equipment & Solutions company. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and gain real-world experience through hands-on, practical experience.
Responsibilties Include:
- Assist in configuring, testing and benchmarking network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Work with Cisco and Juniper devices to analyse performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Support senior engineers in developing and executing hardware test plans.
- Document results, processes, and recommendations.
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies.
- Learn and develop with the support of the team - they will help expand your knowledge & fund certifications!
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A qualification such as a degree, BTEC or HND in IT such as Computer Science, IT, Networking or a related field.
- Basic knowldge of networking concepts such as (IP addressing, routing, switching).
- Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and develop knowledge.
- A great attitude with a passion for IT.
- Ability to realistically commute to the office 5 days a week.
