Role Overview:

  • They’re seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Data to join their leadership team and drive their data strategy.
  • You will be responsible for building and leading their data team, architecting their data infrastructure, and leveraging data to fuel innovative solutions

Technical Skills Needed

  • Azure Data Factory
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deploy
  • Strong skills in data analysis tools and techniques, including proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Expertise in data governance, data quality management, and database management systems
  • Understanding of data privacy laws and regulations to ensure compliance and manage data-related risks

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with their internal and client business objectives
  • Establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of high-quality and insightful Power BI reports.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data professionals
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs
  • implement, and manage cutting-edge data tools and technologies & platforms to streamline data collection, processing, and analysis.
  • Own the Power BI Service governance, how it is managed throughout the organisation and support the testing and roll out of new features.

Leadership Skills

  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of Data Analysts and reporting specialists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to align data strategies with organisational goals
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.
