Company Overview: Join an established and traditional electrical engineering manufacturing company as a Production Process Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to take full responsibility for production, drive continuous improvements, and manage machinery and processes across the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company's continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assess floor layout and plant requirements to align with business strategy.
  • Project manage the implementation of new methods, processes, and equipment.
  • Report directly to the Production Director.

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of the organisation.
  • Calm and composed under pressure, with the ability to manage high-stress situations.
  • Proven experience in a production engineering role within a small to medium-sized manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in production information systems, including MRP and CAD/CAM manufacturing tools.
  • Familiarity with ISO Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills, commercially oriented, results-driven, and good negotiation abilities.
  • Commitment to customer service and quality.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods within an electrical assembly/panel building and sheet metal fabrication environment.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Formal qualification in a manufacturing engineering discipline (preferably HNC).
