A market leader in high-security gates, barriers, and access control systems is experiencing year-on-year growth and is now seeking a mechanical assembler. With an electro-mechanical background and some experience in service and maintenance, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of automated security products. Full training will be provided, making this a challenging and exciting opportunity for those who are proactive and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Repair and maintain a wide range of automated security products including sliding gates, hinged gates, barriers, blockers, bollards, and control panels.
  • Carry out fault diagnosis, identify and replace faulty components.
  • Test systems to ensure correct setting and operation.
  • Complete a nine-point force test and report any failures immediately.
  • Accurately complete site-related reports for repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure jobs are completed within the allocated time.
  • Provide competent technical assistance when required.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, including Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping including appearance, vehicles, van stock, tools, and equipment.
  • Display a proactive, can-do attitude and take ownership of problems.
  • Proactively visit clients and sites to offer services and assist with business growth.
