Our client in Harlow is looking for a Junior Broking Executive to join their sales team. The role is a junior position for someone that has a keen interest within the insurance industry. Full training will be provided but the candidate must be proactive, confident, enthusiastic and keen to learn. They must be IT literate with an analytical mindset, not be afraid to answer the phone and converse with customers looking for competitive insurance quotes. Keen to build relationships for repeat business. Job Title: Traditional Broking ExecutiveReporting to: Head of SalesRole Overview:  We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Entry-Level Broking Assistant to join our team withing the insurance industry. This role involves placing specific drivers on cover using the in house insurance system.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.   1. Technical Operations:
    • Use the insurance system (Acturist) to process and manage driver insurance placements.
    • Utilise the internal CRM system (Optimus) to track and manage client interactions and policy details.
    • Ensure all data entries are accurate and compliant with company policies.
    • Conduct system checks to verify the completeness and accuracy of client information.
  2. Attention to Detail:
    • Carefully review driver documentation and insurance requirements to ensure all necessary details are captured.
    • Monitor policy details and flag any discrepancies or missing information promptly.
  3. Problem Solving:
    • Address and resolve technical issues or errors in the placement process.
    • Collaborate with team members and other departments to troubleshoot system or policy challenges.
  4. Client Support:
    • Provide clear and accurate information to clients about policy details and requirements.
    • Assist with client inquiries and ensure timely resolution of any concerns.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Head of Sales, the sales team leader, and other team members to ensure smooth policy issuance.
    • Support the team in meeting operational goals and maintaining high client satisfaction levels.
  Compliance and Documentation:
    • Adhere to regulatory and company guidelines in all processes.
    • Maintain organised and accurate records of client and policy information.
   QualificationsSkills:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in using internal systems or databases; familiarity with the Big House insurance system (Acturist) and the internal CRM system (Optimus) is a plus.
    • Strong ability to learn and adapt to new software and tools.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • Exceptional diligence in handling data and documentation.
    • Ability to identify and correct errors promptly.

    • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
