Our client, a dynamic and growing food manufacturing company based in Essex, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Warehouse Stock Controller to join their team. As a vital part of our supply chain, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring efficient stock management, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain SAP system with accurate data and issuing of relevant reports
  • Document control and compliance of all inbound and outbound stock
  • Stock Inventory of site stock
  • Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes.
  • Perform cyclic stock checks.
  • Minimise and removal of obsolete stock
  • Attend daily operations meeting to share and gather necessary warehouse performance information. Participating as appropriate to improve performance
  • Identify and flag up any potential material shortages communicating across the business in a timely manner to prevent shortages
  • Provide support to the wider operations team as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures including health & safety and food safety

Personal profile

  • Proven experience of in-depth working with SAP
  • Experience of working within a food manufacturing environment with evidence of maintaining production data and reporting
  • Carrying out periodic reviews of outgoing orders to ensure accuracy of shipments and respective stock records.
  • Ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are investigated, addressed, and resolved.
  • Work with the warehouse management to ensure proper arrangement of stock to allow for optimum efficiency and organisation.
  • Able to work under pressure and constantly re-prioritise, results focussed
  • Operates with an efficient work style, coupled with attention to detail and good time management.
