Role Overview

As a Manual Turner Operator, you will be an integral part of the Machine Shop team, responsible for operating CNC and manual lathes to produce components that meet stringent specifications. You will collaborate closely with the engineering team to optimise manufacturing processes and ensure the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Machining one-offs and repairs with Manual Lathes
- Producing high-quality components to strict tolerances and deadlines
- Performing routine maintenance on machines
- Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults
- Working with engineering drawings and technical specifications

Skills and Experience

- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
- Demonstrated expertise with manual lathes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with various metalworking equipment and tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience Required

- A minimum of 5 years in a machine shop environment is preferred.
