Warehouse Manager | E-Fulfilment | Harlow | £35k - £40k

Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to have partnered with a high growth e-Fulfilment business based in Essex who have a varied client base.

This is a newly created Warehouse Manager role to support the founders in running multiple sites. Founded just 5 years ago being based in a single site, this business has gone from strength to strength to now working out of 3 sites and expected to double in size!. So, it's a great time to join and work alongside 2 highly passionate founders where culture is super important.

The ideal candidate will have management experience within an e-Fulfilment operation and have sound knowledge of a goods in, outbound orders and returns.

Only applicants with eligibility to work in the UK will be considered.

Please note, this role is based on site 5 days per week.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:

  • Management of a team of operatives, supporting with the day to day running of the sites
  • Help to up-skill and cross train the team of operatives and supervisor to maximise productivity
  • Ensuring all orders are picked, packed and despatch in line with customers SLA's - this will be a hands on role and you will be expected to help with orders
  • Count and inspect orders and management of stock control
  • Report discrepancies and any raise issues to the senior management team
  • Ensuring Health & Safety guidelines are followed through, keeping the workplace tidy and clean
  • Optimise warehouse storage space assigning locations to fast moving/ slow moving stock

The ideal candidate:

  • D2C experience within a warehouse setting
  • Management experience within an e-Fulfilment warehouse
  • High attention to detail as orders will be packaged differently for different clients
  • Be commercially minded and be able to work well in a pressurised environment
  • Ability to drive performance through effective engaging management style
  • Some knowledge of HR & H&S is highly desirable
  • Driving license is required as you will be travelling to other sites
