Warehouse Manager

£55, 000 - £60, 000

A dynamic and driven warehouse professional is required for a forward thinking, value driven food group which continues to set the benchmark within their sector.  This is an exciting time to join this business as they continue their growth strategy and as such you will be instrumental in setting up polices, procedures, systems and reenforcing the team.

Reporting into the Site Director you will work as a strategic partner to the business leaders and actively achieve results through working with business and people together.  You will have full autonomy for the site consisting of Goods In, Picking, Packing and Transportation whilst goal setting and initiate local business plans/projects.  This is a key role within the business, and you will be the link between the Warehouse and all the internal and external customers.  

Coming from within a fast-paced food manufacturing company, you will be currently operating as a Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Operations Manager and have relevant experience within a high-volume operation, which is both demanding and pressurised. 

Managing a core team of 20 initially you will need to be able to lead, coach and develop teams responsible for delivering goods within the agreed time and at the agreed quality and lowest possible operational costs.  It will be imperative to build a team which thrives within a fast-paced Continuous Improvement environment – one in which excellence is not only the aim but the expectation!
