Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Daley Recruitment are seeking a Warehouse Shift Supervisor for a brand new food distribution company based in Harlow.

Role:

- Monday to Friday (Will be required for some weekends)
- Shift Pattern: 08:00 - 16:30
- Minimum of 8 hours pay per shift
- Temp to perm position
- Pay rate: 16.50 P/H
- Weekly pay

Duties:

- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff during assigned shifts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Monitor and control inventory levels, track stock movements, and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Implement and maintain effective warehouse processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to optimize warehouse operations.
- Meet productivity, quality, and safety KPIs.
- Train and develop warehouse staff.
- Communicate effectively with other shifts and departments.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Certification in warehouse management or logistics (e.g., CWMS, CLTD).
- Experience with [specific software or systems].
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (if applicable).
