Location: Harlow, Essex (Hybrid – 3 Days in Office, 2 Days Work from Home)Are you a highly organised administrator with a passion for delivering excellent customer service? We’re looking for a proactive and personable Engineer Scheduling Administrator to join a fast-paced, growing business that provides essential safety services to the social housing sector.In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact for scheduling engineer appointments for electrical testing and smoke detector installations, ensuring tenants receive the vital services they need. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work both in the office and from home, while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.The Role: As an Engineer Scheduling Administrator, you’ll be responsible for coordinating appointments with tenants, ensuring engineer schedules are maintained and handling administrative tasks efficiently. You’ll need to be organised, confident, and able to communicate clearly, sometimes overcoming objections to explain the importance of essential safety work.Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling appointments with social housing tenants via letters, emails, and telephone calls for electrical testing and smoke detector installations.
  • Updating engineer diaries with confirmed appointments and managing cancellations and rescheduling.
  • Communicating with tenants to explain the legal requirement of safety work in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handling administrative tasks, including processing engineer paperwork to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Maintaining accurate records in internal systems to track appointment details and job completions.
What We’re Looking For:We’re seeking a confident, organised administrator with strong IT skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.The ideal candidate will have:?? Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and scheduling software.??
