It can be demotivational working in administration/customer service, not causing the problems but solving them, not getting the praise for the company's success that gets heaped on the sales team. Not all customer service and administration roles are like this, and we're working on one that's integral to the successful and profitable delivery of high value commercial contracts.
It's a mix of administration, sales support, customer service, account management, and it is best suited to somebody highly organised who enjoys speaking with people on the phone and getting things done. You will be a key point of contact for ongoing projects, assessing specifications, inputting quotations, checking margins to check pricing is competitive and profitable.
This is a fast-paced role, super important position to a leading brand. You will have a set of internal reps to support and will be crucial to the delivery of projects in your region. As such this role will appeal to a highly motivated, well organised person with a can-do attitude and genuine desire to help and provide solutions.
Ideal candidate profile:
- Excellent existing (phone based) customer service skills, calm, collected and professional
- Experience with Microsoft office, so adept at using outlook and word, and some basic excel understanding.
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial data to a high accuracy
- Able to get to Harlow for a 3-month probation period before hybrid working kicks in
- High attention detail, organised, quick learner
- Happy working in a fast paced, and varied CS role
- Ideally some exposure to working with CRM Systems
