Job Description:

As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering operations within our facility. Ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance, repair, and improvement of our production equipment and facilities. Your role will be crucial in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and longevity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production processes and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and address engineering-related issues.
• Manage engineering budgets and resources effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to implement best practices and innovative solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role within the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and engineering practices, including preventive maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
