Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems and components for electrical distribution, protection, and transformer products.
  • Utilise Onshape CAD or similar CAD software to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and project management to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing to validate design concepts.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all design projects.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during the manufacturing process.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices into design processes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC / HND in Engineering subject, preferably with an electrical background
  • Proven experience in electro-mechanical design, specifically in electrical distribution, protection, site lighting, and transformer products.
  • Proficiency in Onshape CAD or similar CAD software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
