Account Manager – Sports Wholesale & National Retail

Harlow, Essex - Must Drive!

£45k - £50k + Bonus

Are you a results-driven FMCG Account Manager passionate about building relationships and driving sales growth?  Do you love all sports?

If so, we have a rare opportunity for an ambitious Sports Account Manager to join an ever-growing sports brand to manage and grow our clients' existing wholesale and national retail accounts while identifying exciting new sales channels across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing wholesale and national retail accounts to drive growth, upsell the product range, and strengthen partnerships.
  • Work closely with existing wholesale customers to list new products, manage trade promotions, and boost product visibility and representation range.
  • Proactively identify and secure new national retail and wholesale customers, expanding the brand's footprint in the UK and globally.
  • Implement tailored strategies to drive sales growth, ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded.
  • Be the face of the brand, ensuring it is strongly represented across all retail channels, and maintain a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in fmcg account management within wholesale or retail sectors.
  • Ability to build and develop long-term client relationships, particularly with category buyers.
  • Sales acumen with experience in upselling, business development, and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the UK and European retail/wholesale markets.
