MENTAL HEALTH NURSE - BAND 6/7£40,376 - £55,577 PER ANNUMPART-TIME APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDEREDMUCH HADHAM, HERTFORDSHIRE About the role At a time of exciting growth across our School and Children’s Services at St Elizabeth’s, we have an opportunity for an exceptional Mental Health Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team. We encourage and welcome applications from Mental Health Nurses who have a specialism working with children and learning disabilities. Part-time applications will be considered. The post holder will have excellent clinical skills combined with a passion for supporting children and young people who have complex needs and epilepsy, who attend our School or College as either a day pupil or who live on site within our Children’s Homes or Supported Living Service. You will work closely with other clinical professionals across our Health Agency, which consists of epilepsy specialist nurses, learning disability nurses, paediatric nurses and therapists, and will have responsibility for planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised nursing care, with a focus on behavioural and positive mental health support. About You Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for a kind and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills, to ensure the children, young people and parents we support are comfortable and fully informed throughout any clinical decision.
