Overview
An international transport & logistics company is seeking a competent Payroll Administrator to join its busy team located in Harlow. You will play a crucial role in managing and processing payroll functions within the organisation. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software. and in particular Venneu. The ideal candidate will have experience in human resources and a solid understanding of payroll systems, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.

Duties

  • Process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee hours, deductions, and benefits.
  • Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Utilise accounting software such as Venneu to manage payroll functions effectively.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee information is maintained in the HRIS system.
  • Handle accounts payable related to payroll expenses and ensure timely payments.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date payroll records.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to payroll metrics for management review.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role within human resources or accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including Venneu or QuickBooks and Workday; familiarity with PeopleSoft is an advantage.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and accounts payable processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members and management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Excellent command of Excel and spreadsheets.
