GSL Education’s Chelmsford branch is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join one of our client schools in Harlow as an Early Career Teacher (ECT). This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to start their teaching career in a supportive and vibrant environment, or an experienced KS1 teacher ready for a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities for ECT Primary Teacher (KS1 Teacher):
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
- Assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement exciting and innovative lessons.
- Engage with parents and carers to support students' development and well-being.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in school events and activities.
Qualifications and Experience for ECT Primary Teacher (KS1 Teacher):
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve QTS.
- Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
