The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception teacher to join our team from January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a nurturing and stimulating environment, helping children in their first steps towards a love of learning.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure a well-rounded education.
- Participate in school events and contribute to the school's ethos.
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Ensure smooth transitions for students within the Reception year.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ideally within a Reception class.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
- Ability to engage children in active, hands-on learning.
