QC / Quality Control Technician  

Scantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic FMCG Manufacturer based in Harlow, to assist them in recruiting a Quality Control Technician to work within their Technical team. For this role, we're seeking a candidate with at least 1 years experience in a similar QA / Quality Assurance / Quality Control role within the food or wider FMCG sector. You’d need to have a good knowledge of BRC and ISO 9001.  

As the site Quality Control tech, you’d have the responsibility to ensure that products or services meet consistent standards of quality. Maintaining and improving quality systems, processes, and procedures, and ensuring that the organisation's offerings meet both internal and external requirements.  

Hours / Shifts:   

Early & Late rotating shift pattern  
Monday to Friday – 7am-3pm / 3pm-11am  
Overtime is available

QA / Quality Control Technician – Summary of core responsibilities: 

  • Implement and maintain QMS in line with industry standards. 
  • Conduct product/service inspections to ensure quality. 
  • Document and report quality metrics and non-conformities. 
  • Sampling, Sample preparation, arrange sample to send Outside laboratory and documentation 
  • Physical analysis of the product - both raw & finished
  • Support continuous improvement and problem-solving activities. 
  • Address customer quality concerns and ensure satisfaction.
